This is a game Duleek/Bellewstown should have won but instead came out on the wrong side of a two point defeat. The East Meath side started the game well with points from wing back Eoin Morris , after a great run from his own back line. Indeed the six backs and Dylan Moore in goals did very well throughout the game with a man of the match performance from corner back Robin Clarke. Further points from Darren Heeney, Gareth Reilly and another from Heeney left Duleek/Bellewstown leading at half time.

Half Time:   Duleek/Bellewstown  0-05                  North Meath Gaels    0-02

Corner forward Darren Arnold opened the second half with a well taking point from the left corner. Further points from Stephen Lynch and Robin Clarke gave Duleek/Bellewstown a 3 point lead before North Meath Gaels kicked a high ball in and it found its way to the back of the D/B net. Two further points from the North Meath side was enough to give them the victory.

Best for Duleek/Bellewstown were Robin Clarke, Jamie Brannigan, Stephen Watters and James Burke.
