Minor League Div 4 – Round 3 V Moynalty 16/3/13

Duleek/Bellewstown went to Moynalty in search of their second win to stay in contention midway through the Division 4 Minor League. On a bright but very cold evening James Burke scored Duleek/Bellewtowns first point after one minute of play. Stephen Lynch then followed up with a goal minutes later which gave D/B a platform to build on with further points from Darren Heeney, Eoin Morris, Gareth Reilly and Stephen Lynch. This left Duleek/Bellewstown leading by 5 points at the interval.

James Burke as in the first half started off the scoring with a well taken point. Full back Karl Brannigan while following his man out the field received a pass and went on a solo run at the end of which he blasted the ball to the back of the Moynalty net. Further points from Shane Crosby, and Substitute Shane Townley sealed the win for Duleek/Bellewstown.
