DuleekBellewstown recorded a fine victory in the second round of the Reserve League Div 2 encounter over Trim on Tuesday night.

Darren Heaney opened up the scoring account for D/B after 6 minutes of play and again it was Heeney who stepped up seconds later to add another fine point. Further points came in the form of Peter Curran (0-02), John Flood (0-01), Dylan Kearney (0-01) and a goal each from Wayne Noone and John Flood left it D/B 2-06 to Trims 1-05 at the interval.

Flood came out strong in the second half as he was responsible for D/B next two points. Noone and Heeney added further points for the East Meath men. Dylan Carney added a further goal for D/B while further points from John Flood and Darren Heeney and a goal from Sub Simon Walsh put the game beyond Trims reach and the scores finished up D/B 4-12 to Trim 2-10.

Best for D/B where Flood, Noone and Kearney.
