Duleek Bellewstown 2-2  Donaghmore Asbourne 1-17

Injury hit Duleek Bellewstown slumped to their second defeat in 8 days to a stronger Donaghmore Ashbourne on Saturday evening last.

Despite playing against the wind Ashbourne started with more purpose scoring 1-4 in the first 15 minutes before a Darren Mills pointed free in the 18th miniute opened the home team's account. A further 4 points from Ashbourne left the home team training by 1-8 to 0-1 at the interval. 

Ashbourne continued the second half with 3 early points and a Mark Collins point from play in the 8th minute and a penalty from Stephen Nolan in the 10th minute did give some hope to the home side but Ashbourne continued picking off long range points at regular intervals to maintain control. A David Moore goal 8 minutes from the end completed the scoring for the home team.
