Traffic Management for O'Connor Park in Tullamore on Saturday

posted 25 Jul 2012, 01:17 by Unknown user

A Chara,

Offaly GAA and O'Connor Park in association with An Garda Siochána have a traffic management and parking plan for big games at O'Connor Park.   The map is split into North, South, East, West and Centre with the car parks colour coded in accordance with entrance road.  All roundabouts and car parks are named and each car park is a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the ground, with some as little as 3 minutes.  This map will hopefully benefit An Garda Siochána, Tullamore residents and all the people travelling to games at O'Connor Park and it is another step towards improving Parking knowledge and access and egress to and from the town.  The next big games at O'Connor Park are on this Saturday in All-Ireland SFC Qualifier when we welcome Meath and Laois and All-Ireland MHC Quarter Final where we welcome Galway and Wexford. Can you please let your own media know in advance and maybe also put on your own websites, facebook and twitter to make as many people as possible aware of this new plan. I attach map in PDF and JPG.

We wish you all safe travelling to and from Tullamore next Sunday and we hope that you find this plan of benefit to your supporters.

Mise le meas
Neil O Murchú
