Duleek/Bellewstown GFC will host a special Club Open Day in early March to promote the East Meath Club and their development plans.

Myra Reddy, Club PRO stated: ‘We will be holding a special Club Open Day in our Clubhouse on the Navan Road on Saturday, March 09th next from 11am-4pm where we will showcase all we have to offer families in this area and our plans for the future. We are asking all members  and all those interested to attend on the day when the new clubhouse plans will be on view. All comments and observations will be passed on to our Development Committee for review and incorporation into a planning submission document.’

‘We have launched a major Development Plan for the coming years which involves upgrading and expanding our facilities in order to cater for the growing population in the Duleek/Bellewstown area. Our Club Plan for the next five years commits us to a number of key projects including the development of a new Clubhouse and new floodlights at the Duleek pitch and we also have medium-term plans to upgrade facilities at Bellewstown’ affirmed Reddy.

Stephen McKee, Club Community Liaison Officer, continued: ‘Our Club Membership for 2013 is now open and we invite everyone in the community to either renew their membership or sign-up as new members. Club membership helps us pay the substantial costs of running our Club and we have just launched our newly developed membership brochure to facilitate everyone to get involved.’

‘We are delighted that former Meath All-Ireland winning captain and All Star Graham Geraghty is our new senior coach and Graham will be down at the Clubhouse for the Open Day to meet and greet everyone. We look forward to a great day’ concluded McKee.
